It’s cheap! It’s got protein! It tastes good!
2 ½ cups water
½ cup white rice
½ cup lentils
2 tbsp butter
1 onion chopped
spices (2 tsp curry powder, for example)
Stir together then simmer 20 minutes covered. For variation, add some tomatoes.
